GNU Linux

Linux means Linus Torvalds Unix. It was initially released on the year 1991. Did you know that TUX means Torvalds Unix? :)

Linux is a unix-like operating system that uses a Linux kernel. A Linux system which includes system utilities and libraries from the GNU Project is sometimes referred to as GNU/Linux. (GNU means GNU is Not UNIX)
